YOUTHS HELD BY SWANSEA
Luton's Youth team completed their Puma Alliance Cup fixtures with an away draw against Swansea City.
The result brought to an end Luton's five game winning streak as Scott Sinclair's second half goal had cancelled out a Swansea opener in the first half.
The home side went ahead on 24 minutes after turning their dominance of possession into a goal.
But Luton fought back, and after Swansea almost doubled their advantage, captain Elliott Osborn-Ricketts, and the returning Ryan Charles came close to an equaliser.
At the start of the second-half Luton made two changes bringing on Riccardo Biggi and Dean Hamilton for Taylor Nathaniel and Elliott Osborn-Ricketts.
And Luton's youngster were rewarded for their bright play in the second half as Sinclair's cross-cum-shot floated over the top of the Swansea goalkeeper and into the top corner.
Luton had chances to win the game in the closing stages, with Hamilton having the best effort after he failed direct a shot on target after good build-up play from the visitors.
